Learning to teach well requires practice. You will have completed at least one peer teaching assignment this half of the semester. This activity required a good deal of preparation: identifying an objective, planning the appropriate assessment, identifying engaging activities. Think about the steps you took to prepare.
Task: Write a reflection on the steps you took to prepare your peer teaching. Then think about what you experienced as you “taught” your lesson. Finally, consider the feedback you received. What would you have done differently as a result of these actions? Started earlier? Differentiated the lesson more? Had better assessments?
