We can see that Civil War was not only due to the conflicts upon slavery between North and South, but more importantly, it also exists in a federal system with a serious localist tendency, compromised imbalances and limited central power, which has exacerbated the instability of this system and caused conflicts between the two sides in slavery. Gradual escalation resulted in a full-scale war. In the United Kingdom, where a single system, centralized power and relatively stable state system were adopted, social conflicts did not rise to violent political confrontation. Therefore, the instability of the early US federal system was the deep political structural cause that prompted the outbreak of the civil war.
