Remote Office Addition ProjectOverview

You are starting with a new company as part of a team tasked with adding a new office for the company in another state. You will advise the leaders of the team and the company on what needs to be done in order to bring this task to fruition. Your team leader has asked you to communicate your progress via memos attached to an email.

There are three sample memos below to help you get started. Upload your Memos 1–3 to Blackboard for grading. Cite any sources, including tools such as an IP calculator.

  • Memo 1 sample.
  • Memo 2 sample.
  • Memo 3 sample.

Choose a fictitious name for your company. Do not use a real company or search the internet for a company name. If you can’t think of one, just use your last name and the name of your favorite dessert. For example, Jones Key Lime Pie Corporation. You will choose all the variables in this assignment.

InstructionsMemo 1: Networking Equipment

For your first assignment, your boss has asked you to be prepared to create some subnets. Initially, the new company location will start up with 4 departments, but over the next one to five years, there will be new teams of people that could grow. You can always do more subnetting later, but for now; your boss has asked you to decide how many subnets to start with. Don’t forget to make room for growth.

Choose a number of subnets between 5 and 32 and report that number back to your boss in Memo 1. Tell your boss what you chose and why. For example, why did you pick “X” subnets? How many hosts will each subnet accommodate? How many extra subnets will be available if you choose this number? What is the subnet mask? These are all important considerations.

Choose a random class “C” IPV4 IP address and run it through a subnet calculator or subnet it yourself. Present a list of subnet IPs and Broadcasts for each of your subnets to your boss in the form of a table. Include the number of hosts that will be AVAILABLE on each subnet. Remember the subnet IP and broadcast IP are not available to assign to hosts.

Note: If you use a subnet calculator, include the complete web link to this tool so your instructor can check your work.

Memo 2: Network Setup

Assuming the new office location is going in one building, describe your network. What is the topology like? How will you manage the traffic? What protocol will you use for IP addressing and how will you configure the switch(es) with the chosen protocols? Be sure to include a complete list of commands you will use.

Also, your boss wants you to provide the plan you have for securing the passwords. Specify which appliance(s) you’re securing, its password, and your plan for levels of security.

Memo 3: Licensing

Cisco is very particular about licensing. It’s important for companies to keep careful records on licensing of their IOSs and your boss has asked you to explain the importance of this as well as your plan for configuring the licensing on the hardware needed for this project.

In your third memo to the boss, describe licensing considerations. Be thorough in your description of licensing requirements and include your thoughts on how you will maintain the licenses needed for this new location.

Project Introduction

I’m working on a English exercise and need support.

In 500-750 words, describe the research essay you will be developing. What research question

will you be answering? What is the significance of this topic to you personally and to society?

What are the issues involved with this topic? What are the varying viewpoints? At this point,

you do not commit to a position, and you must include at least one outside source, preferably

peer-reviewed. Integrate a quote from the source and provide the proper MLA citation.

300 words answer the problems.

In the concept of gender policing. think about how gender policing has functioned and still functions in your own life. For example, how have your parents, family members, friends, and/or peers demonstrated normative gender ideology (or “taught” you your gender)? How have you taken steps to police the way you “do” your own gender?

Myers and Laura Raymond in “Elementary School Girls and Heteronormativity: The Girl Project”?

From the book “A world of ideas”What are the differences and similarities between Lao tzu and Machiavelli and what is the theme and how can you connect between them?

I’m stuck on a English question and need an explanation.

from the book “A World of Ideas” by Lee A. Jacobu

The prompt is:

Both of these political thinkers have vastly different ideologies, but i wonder if there are ant principles that they might agree upon.

Look through both texts and see if you can find any points of intersection. Find quotes from both texts that help to prove that these great advisers do have common ground.

The questions are:

Do they have ideas that do not directly oppose one another.

Are there any ways that their methods of political influence complement each other.

In your conclusion clearly define the sort of commonality you are able to find in these guides to strong leadership.
the requirements are :

green computing

I’m trying to study for my Computer Science course and I need some help to understand this question.

The need for green computing is becoming more obvious considering the amount of power needed to drive our computers, servers, routers, switches, and data centers. Discuss ways in which organizations can make their data centers “green”. In your discussion, find an example of an organization that has already implemented IT green computing strategies successfully. Discuss that organization and share your link.

The poem the essay will be about is

We Wear the Mask

BY PAUL LAURENCE DUNBAR

             “We Wear the Mask”(p574)

We wear the mask that grins and lies,It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,—This debt we pay to human guile; With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,And mouth with myriad subtleties. Why should the world be over-wise,In counting all our tears and sighs?Nay, let them only see us, while       We wear the mask.We smile, but, O great Christ, our criesTo thee from tortured souls arise. We sing, but oh the clay is vileBeneath our feet, and long the mile; But let the world dream otherwise,       We wear the mask!

The essay assignment must compose a paper of at least 750 words in which you offer your interpretation of a literary element poem (such as theme, imagery, symbolism, or characterization)

  1. Open your introduction with an engaging opener, such as a question, quote from the poem, or interesting idea. Then, connect to the poem and mention the title and the author. End your introduction with a thesis statement that interprets one literary element of the poem (such as theme, imagery, symbolism, or characterization).
  2. The body paragraphs should support your thesis. Present specific aspects of the poem that help to illustrate your points. Make sure to quote from the poem and analyze specific lines that support your argument.
  3. Include a strong concluding paragraph that summarizes your main points and explains the significance of the thesis.

Write 1 page with APA style on The Rooseveltian Nation Ascendant. The Rooseveltian Nation Ascendant The Rooseveltian Nation Ascendant Q1: What social policies and proposals were designed to restore men to their former position?

The unemployment rate of men who worked in the blue-collar occupations was relatively higher than that of women who mainly worked in white-collar occupations (Gerstle, 2001). Therefore, policies were initiated to combat the intruding of women on male’s breadwinning roles. First, several states passed legislations to outlaw hiring of married women. Second, the Social Security pension did not cover domestic servants, waitresses and other female occupations to reduce their work coverage. Besides, a majority of commentators proposed ludicrous gender solutions to the challenge of unemployment. For instance, the Norman Cousins suggested that the depression of the unemployment among men could be ended by firing ten million working women and issuing their jobs to men (Gerstle, 2001, p.178). The labor movement made a significant celebration and the protection of male wage earner and its principal goal. Finally, there was the exclusion of inferior groups from the national community to erase any marker of their presence, for instance, women were to be excommunicated from work and other key nation positions.

Q2: Which threats hindered the achievement of social rights by all Americans?

The task or duty of ensuring that the American citizens had access to social rights was incomplete because of some factors or threats. First, the amalgamation of conservative patriotism around Dies and the congressional supporters depicted communism instead of unregulated capitalism (Gerstle, 2001, p.186). Communism was the nation’s worst enemy, and it identified a new deal as an emergent dictatorship. Second, the survival of a radicalized nationalism continued to define America as a society whereby some races are better compared to others. High levels of discrimination hindered utmost achievement of social rights among all Americans.
