Remember, the purpose of this essay is not to prove whether you are right or wrong, but that you can fairly present two sides of an argument and logically determine the best solution to the problem you are faced with.With that in mind, we ask that you withhold your personal opinion, personal judgments of the material, or personal narrative until the conclusion of your essay.

Your essay should meet the following guidelines:

·       is between 900 and 1200 words in length;

·       includes direct quotations and paraphrased passages from four or more scholarly texts representing more than one side of the issue;

·       qualifies each of the authors (authors representing each side of the debate should have compatible credibility);

b. Have a clear thesis the paper supports throughout…the message that makes your discussion matter to a reader who does not know you.  Don’t let your paper simply be rambling facts and summary…it should be working toward proving a point you wish make!

d. Give quotes from your source material for support/illustration…do not assume that the reader knows anything about the articles you are using, or the novel…you have to provide adequate context and integration of this material, without exploiting this and using unnecessary summarization to bulk up your paper.

e. Make sure things are grammatically and logically flowing.  A LOT of you are turning in papers that are clearly not proofread at all.  All those little red, green, and blue lines that Word puts under your work are not for decoration!  Not that relying on a machine to point out your issues is ideal, either, but many of you are clearly not even going that far with editing and proofreading!

Hello! My name is Elise Castro and I am excited to start this course. I have one dog that is a rottweiler and he is 12 years old. I am in my junior year of college. My career goal is to become a registered nurse, more specifically, a labor and delivery nurse. I was planning on pursuing the nursing program here at VVC, but recently my sister moved to Arizona and I am thinking about continuing my education at a college near her. I think if I go and visit where she lives then that will help me come to a decision. I have taken about ten online classes throughout my college career, so I am quite comfortable with taking this online course. I know how to schedule my time with an online course and I also always have a journal specifically for my schooling, so I can keep track of assignments and what is due on certain days. I live in Wrightwood which is a little far from VVC, so that is why I’ve taken many online classes.

Recovery and maintenance are important processes in incident response. The presence of a response plan before the occurrence of an incidence is beneficial in limiting the damage caused. A response plan aids in reducing the time and costs needed for recovery and maintenance. The recovery process commences by trying to figure out the cause of the incident. For example, after a cyberattack, the recovery process can investigate the cause of the compromise and any lacking security measures that caused the vulnerability. It identifies the nature of the attack, damages or losses incurred, and systems involved amongst others (Whitman et al., 2013). The maintenance phase relies on the information collected during recovery. The first step is carrying out an after-action review to ensure that the incident does not occur again in the future. The next steps should involve repairing or replacing the lost or damaged systems and recording the incident for future reference. What factors determine recovery and maintenance in incident response amongst different team?

Preparation and implementation are elements of disaster recovery that every firm or team should exercise. The two processes are essential in helping an organization or team create an effective disaster recovery plan. Some of the requirements for undertaking preparation and implementation include informed and trained staff, supplies, and planned approaches and procedures. The training of the staff can take place in the preparation stage. During the process, the workers can learn how to get prepared for various disasters. The implementation stage can include the acquisition of supplies after the identification of the needed resources and products to prepare for different disasters (Alfred et al., 2015). The management should collaborate with the workers to achieve this goal. The preparation and implementation processes should include clear goals of the recovery plan so that the management and the employees can work towards meeting it effectively. How important is preparation and implementation in disaster recovery?
