Benchmark – Data Collection Design
This assignment should be a continuation from your literature review from unit 2. The Literature Review is ATTACHED
Part 1: When doing research, you need to be able to specify how you are going to collect your data. Explain the data collection process by writing a 500-750-word proposal that:
1. Describe Sampling Methods
2. Explain Measurements Levels (Unitization)
3. Differentiate between Post-Positivist Paradigm (quantitative) and interpretive (qualitative) or critical
Part 2: When doing research, you also need to design methods of effectively answering your research question(s) and accurately testing your hypothesis. For this part of the assignment, you will be utilizing a survey design. In the survey, you need to include:
1. Ten scale items that will serve as a composite measure
2. Four demographic/population questions
3. One open-ended question
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
