INTRODUCTION TO EDUCATION: EDUC 1000November 2018Interview Project: Phase in Phase II of the interview project, your task is to report your findings from your analysis of the transcription presented in Phase I. I advise using the Word template posted on the course webpage in Brightspace (you will need to make a few changes such as in headings). Include your transcript from Phase I. The analysis interpretation portion of Phase II should be about 300 –500 words (1 ½to 2 pages). In this assignment, marks will be awarded based on identifying key themes, concepts or ideas that you believe are important, interesting, or unique, as well as formatting and grammar. In the analysis, you should explain your findings. When presenting your findings, it is most effective to include actual examples of comments; doing so builds trust in your findings. I will be looking to see that your key themes, concepts or ideas are supported with short quotes. It is also important to make logical links between the 2 or 3 key themes/ subthemes, concepts or ideas you have identified—be concise and clear. To do well on this assignment, your analysis/interpretation should include an intellectual critique of the responses that the professor(s) give to the questions asked during the panel. In other words, don’t describe what the professor(s) said, but rather engage the ideas the professors(s)offered.
