2 question for ancient israel class

hi,

Below is the instructions and the questions. I can provide you the bible .

Length: 300 words. Keep in mind that you the study questions are the very broad and there is much to say about them. The study questions are intended to guide your reading. Choose something from the your interaction with the readings to address in your written response.

1. What does it mean to study the life cycle? Think about the momemtous events in your own life so far or what major events we mark in any particular modern culture. These life cycle events and the way we choose to mark them tell us a lot about the broader culture. Choose one of the assigned biblical passages and consider what it tells us about a specific life cycle event. How does that help us understand wider aspects of ancient Israelite culture?

2. What did Israelites believe happened after you die? How does the literary and archaeological help us answer this question?

Open your favorite magazine or web magazine: Spin, Sports Illustrated, Ebony, Rolling Stone, Us, Seventeen. Which celebrity is being interviewed in the latest issue?

Turn on the television to a crime drama: CSI, Law and Order, or NCIS. See if you notice the cops or lawyers interviewing witnesses and suspects.

Even the Internet offers its version of the interview with IM and Chat rooms.

Interviews are a primary source that provides a unique perspective and level of interaction that other research lacks. Conducting a good interview is not as easy as it looks, though, which is why good interviewers make a lot of money. What those people know is that the secret to a good interview is in the preparation. In this activity, you are going to go face to face with someone in your life who is part of a unique subculture. Your goal is to focus the interview so you can dig up all the dirt you can on their subculture, using all you have learned about the aspects of cultures and subcultures.

First, find someone interesting who represents a subculture.

Once you have an interview subject in mind, follow these steps for preparing an interview:

  • The name of the person and subculture (subject) of your interview.
  • A list of 10 facts (your interview subject may not agree with these) about the subculture from your research (not from the interview).
  • A list of 10 facts (your interview subject may not agree with these either) about the person you will interview.
  • A list of 10 open-ended focused interview questions in the order you plan to present them.

This is just the previous questions, [DO NOT ANSWER THE BELOW QUESTION/S.]

On page number 349 and 350 in your book complete Lab 11.1 part one and part two, Cardiovascular Health. After doing so discuss your scores (if you would like). Were you surprised by your scores? Were you satisfied with your answers? What changes may you have to make in your life? And how does a hostile attitude affect CVD? You can answer all or some of the questions above.

——————————————————————

“Student A” – A hostile attitude can affect CVD in the way that your body reacts to certain situations. If you have a negative feeling about certain things it can trigger your body to react to it. If you have a hostile attitude towards changing your lifestyle, you’re not going to try to change it, it may be harder to adapt healthier choices since you already have a negative feeling towards changing.Having negative feelings may also cause stress and affect cardiovascular health that way. I feel like I am set in my ways and I don’t like changing my routine, I let little things at work stress me out and I feel like I need to change my attitude towards everyday situations to feel less stressed.

“Student B” – Hello class, I believe hostile attitudes are Psychological and are going to be related to cvd and something like cynical hostility which is a mistrust in people our attitude with personality traits. Attitude can affect and individuals adaptions to health behaviors and also going into a maladaptive stress that would result in direct alteration is cvd. I find that being hostile can cause and increase in your blood pressure and make you more ill how are attitude are being portrayed if you are going through an illness and you are always getting angry and upset with people it can cause a negative impact on your health. Changes we can make in life is to control our attitude regardless of the scenario we are in it is easy to get upset but learning to adapt and being able to cope. I wasn’t surprised by more score i feel as if i already knew the outcome but it is something to look forward to and to better improve what i have learned i am not satisfied because there are always things that can be done to better improve and knowledge about these issues can make me help others the also may go through this.
